Burden
Bearers Chaplaincy Program
When Agape's president, Mike Humble, returned
from "Ground Zero" in September of 2001, he realized rural
America needed a chaplaincy program just as much as major
cities. This was the beginning of the Burden Bearers Chaplaincy
Program.

Burden Bearers Chaplains go through extensive
training dealing with Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and EMS
personnel. The Burden Bearer Chaplains are chaplains to the
emergency personnel of Russellville and Logan County. |
| Their duties include counseling with First
Responders, death and emergency notifications, dealing in
domestic situations, assisting in ceremonies, dealing with
suicidal attempts, and much more. |
